A HUGE SUCCESS!

Thank you to everyone for a wonderful community celebration!

The Lake Forest Day Foundation reached its goal of $1 million+ to perpetuate Lake Forest Day, capped off by a donation from Captain James Lovell at the Opening Ceremony in Market Square; the Beach Ball was a smashing success, the parade was bigger and better than ever; and thousands of families flocked to the carnival for a festive ending to the week. Congratulations to the local American Legion Post 264 and its mission to help veterans, support youth, and promote patriotism, which was widely recognized and saluted by Lake Foresters of all ages.

Beautiful Lake Forest Day beach blankets, embroidered with the colorful Lake Forest Day Centennial logo, are still available at $40 each at City Hall (cash or check) and the Recreation Center (cash, check or credit card). Please stop by to pick up yours today!
